It's kinda like AvantGo for your iPod. These guys have developed a web standard for creating versions of web pages which can be read on your iPod. They provide the standards and style guidelines, and allow you to create your own podSite and podCast it!podSites are read using the built-in Notes feature on your iPod (anyone can use this-- if you enable hard drive mode access on your iPod, you can move text files to it and read them via the "Extras" menu selection. Apple has provided a nice iPod Notes User's Guide on their developer's site). They already host a few web site feeds, and encourage wewb developers to publish their own podSite feeds there. It may catch on, it may not-- but either way, trying it will tach you something new about your iPod.
