The "gentle" alarm mode gradually increases the volume, or just jump out of bed to the buzzer alarm. Your iPod recharges while docked, and you can use it as a speaker system any time you want. The suggested retail price is going to be around $100, so it looks like a great bargain. Unfortunately, it won't ship until September.
